Chapter 3: Lion's Fury (Canon)

[Flash]

Flash grumbled when she didn't get her response, poking Corals leg with her paw. " Coooral! " She whined, just like any other cub. " Whats going on with Denee and Ayo? " She blinked, looking at the small group.

[Coral]

Coral smirked lightly before glancing down to Flash - than as if to answer everyone's question; she'd proclaim happily and audible enough for the group to hear, "Ayo and Denee are getting.. married~." she'd purr.

[Asani]

The cub's red eyes widened at his mother's sentence. "M..M..." he could hardly get the word out because he was in so much shock. "I dont wanna do that!" he said running off before slamming into a tan cub with a brown diamond marking on his head.

Landing on his back Ayo stared at him. "Im sorry! I didnt mean to Please forgive me..." The other cub, who's name was Utasi just stood there. Confused, Ayo walked closer and began to prod the cub while Utasi just sat there tilting his head.

[Flash]

" Whos that? " Flash whispered to anyone who was close enough to hear her, looking at Utasi, whom she had never seen before.

[Asani]

Utasi just furrowed his brow as Ayo continued to prod him and walked off, swishing his tail as he walked. It was just gonna be like every other place he'd seen. The cubs would prod and parents would probably shelter their young from him just because he was different.

[Flash]

Curiosity over-took Flash and she ran over to Utasi, " Hello, who are you? " She more or less looked curious about the stranger.

[Asani]

Utasi whirled around to find a white cub before him. "Awah." was all he could say. "Wish I wasnt like this...I've probably just totally embarassed myself." he thought.

[Asani]

"See? I told you I would find you one...and he's a prince too." Renga giggled.

Utasi figuring that he had embarassed himself enough for one day ran off into a nearby bush.

[Flash]

" Hm? " She asked curiously, her head cocked to the side slightly. " Are you alright? You walked off when Ayo ran into you. "

[Asani]

Utasi shook his head in a 'yes' motion, though quite frankly on the inside he wasn't alright. Since he had wandered away from his pride it's always been the same thing. "Why can't you speak? Are you stupid?", the words of the other cubs echoed in his mind as he sat there for a few moments before coming out of the bush.

[Flash]

" Oh alright, as long as your okay. " Flash shrugged, watching Utasi curiously.

[Asani]

The golden cub just sat there and looked around before contemplating if he should leave this pride alone or not. He padded a few steps forward before his ears pricked up as he looked around wildly for any danger. Before he knew what was going on, Renga had found the cub and was hugging him tightly to her foreleg while Utasi was trying his best to push away with his small paws. He'd made it free for a few moments before she pulled the poor cub back by his tail toward her as she smiled. "Well somebody's a grumple puss.." she frowned as she stared at Utasi. The cub just gave the lioness a neutral expression.

Bringing a paw to the cub's chin she turned his head from side to side. "Hmmm...I dont recognize your markings..." she mused as she examined him. "Hey Coral! Could you come here for a moment?"

[Coral]

Coral walked over towards them before glancing to the cub than Renga; "Sure, what's wrong?"

[Asani]

"Do you recognize his markings?" she asked facing the cub's head towards Coral. Utasi tried his best to pull himself from the lioness's grip on him.

[Flash]

Flash watched helplessly as Renga held the cub, but she at least had to try, right? " Aunty Renga! Can you put him down please? I was playing with him... " She looked up at Renga pleadingly, well, it wasn't a total lie.. She had just been talking to him, not playing. " Pleeeeeeease? "
