Peke awoke before the rest of the pride that morning and padded outside into the grass, hearing birds as he walked along towards the waterhole. "Wonder when we can go back home..." he thought as he padded along.

Sabre awakens from within his chamber and gently nuzzles Ana as she lays next to him.
EDIT: As a note, this doesn't mean you have to stop in Chapter 2

Peke sat down and looked up at the clouds above, making way for the sun which signaled the start of a new day. He personally felt like he had been with the pride for far too long and decided that he would try and navigate his own way back home.

A guard sees Peke trying to walk off and hurries over. "Hold it young one, you won't last too long without your friends out there." She says, looking down at the cub.

The lioness grabs the cub by the scruff. "You remind me of another cub I had to watch over." She says while carrying the cub back to the other Bolsheviks.

"Let go!" Peke said trying to claw at the female. "I didnt do anything!"

"I'm not letting you get hurt out there." Is all the lioness says as she approaches the nearest Bolshevik, putting the cub down.

Peke landed with a slight thud as his body hit the ground, he turned his head and glared slightly up at the guard due to her bringing him back and not letting him go.

The lioness sighs before looking at the cub. "Tell you what, I'll go with you so you can play."

"I dont wanna play..I wanna go home!" he said as he slashed at the lioness's foreleg and sped off.

The lioness dodges the slash just in time and Sabre runs out of the cave, having been there to see the cub's outburst. He catches up with the cub before getting infront of him. "Peke, you know it's not safe out here without your friends."

"I can make it just fine..." he said under his breath, while his cerulean eyes locked with Sabre's. Peke's personality had seemed to change slightly while he had been at Bolshevik, maybe it was being around all the others in the pride, or it could have possibly been the training he had been through.

Sabre's expression changes to one of confusion and concern. "No Peke, you can't survive a three day journey alone at your age." He says, his tone soft.
