"Yeah, I'm fine. Though my brother certainly wasn't. These wounds will heal with time. Might get a few more scars, but it's not too bad," Blaze answers. He looks at her, smiling. "Besides, how can I not be alright with you around?"
Haki chuckles. "So you're Sabre's son? Well, it's nice to meet you. Although I'm sure Sabre will be keeping you under constant watch now..."
Davu looks at his daughter. "Because you won't know what may be waiting on the other side of it until you go through. An adult is perfectly capable of defending itself from hyenas, wildebeest, or buffalo that would attack. A cub is little to no threat to them."

A thought popped into the young cub's mind. He would leave tonight, find Kabibe and run away with her to start their own pride.

"Of course Coral. And I'm glad I told you how I feel," Blaze answers. He smiles back at her.
Haki looks over at Blaze and Coral and smiles. "Ah, young love. How it brings me back."
Davu sighs and shakes his head. "He wouldn't let anything happen to you, but he wouldn't be able to protect you from hyenas. He's just a cub like you. A hyena is a threat even to a fully grown lion. Especially spotted hyenas."

Blaze looks again at Haki, and gets a feeling of familiarity. "I've never really noticed this but Haki looks a lot like..." His eyes widen in surprise. "It can't be..."
Haki walks over to Blaze. "I must say, you have a good eye. And you're a very good fighter."
"Of course you would know that... Mkali... father."

The cub ducked underneath Coral's paw and walked off back into Heshima cave still pouting. "I can go when everyone's asleep..But...how am I gonna find Kabibe?" he thought.
