"Mommmmy!" Ayo whined as she began to groom him, beginning to squirm, pawing at her. "I'm not dirty!"
Peke snickered. "Least I'm not dirty.." Peke said to himself.

Coral couldn't help but grin when the cub struggled, she then let him go and walked off, towards Blaze and his father. Not saying much, the lioness sat down next to Blaze while watching his father.

Ayo watched his mother walk and sit next to his father. "Wanna go back out and play?" Peke asked Ayo. "Um..I guess we can." he said starting to jump down following Peke back outside.

Blaze placed his head to his father's side and closed his eyes, listening for a sign of life. He heard a heartbeat, though it was faint.
Mkali looked at Blaze, his eyes dim. "I'm sorry son... I don't have the strength to fight any longer. But you've done me proud Blaze. You've... always done me proud. Now go, you are the Mlinzi's king. You need to lead them to another area so they can survive. But know this: I love you son."
Blaze closed his eyes tighter as he heard the heartbeat stop. His lips quivered.

"Let me go see if its ok with Mommy and Daddy.." Ayo said walking into the area where his parents were. "Daddy? Can I go.." he then noticed his father being silent and ran into his line of view. "Daddy?" he asked looking up at him.

Sabre's ears droop and he lowers his head before "bowing," the rest of the guards and guardians in the cave repeating the gesture.

Coral laid down next to Blaze and frowned, her head on her paws as her heart sank; she tried her best to comfort him, but also tried not to get in the way, not wanting to tick him off.. he's been through a lot already. When Ayo came next to Blaze, Coral yanked him back by the tail, "Ayo... let him be.." she sighed, hoping Ayo would get the message as she glanced at Blaze's lifeless father then back at Ayo. Coral sat up once more, but this time; her back was arched down, head drooping as she continued to mourn.
