<sub>I'm beginning to question why I came back here... Kawaida mused. He wanted to stay quiet, but there was still something he had to say to Sacha. "Oh, I have a message from Blaze. He said that if the Belikov pride exiles you, as his big sister, you're welcome to return to the pride if you choose to." With nothing further to say he remained silent, determined to stay this way at least until they reached the Belikov lands.

The red male continued on through his lands, relief rolling over him like a wave as he made it back into the caves he was so familiar with. So fond of.</sub>

Nikita and Peke soon reached the forest. The moonlight shone in many streams of light, seeing as the tree canopy blocked most of it. She led Peke into a small illuminated clearing before sitting down. Looking up, she smiled as she gazed at the moon. As she thought about stuff for a moment, a frown curved ehr lips. Looking to Peke, she tilted her head to the side slightly.
"When you grow up, do you think you would wanna be a Daddy?"</sub>

Peke stared at Nikita and thought for a moment. "I dunno..girls have cooties or something..but you dont though." he added in quickly.

_{Nikita smiled sweetly, a light blush coming to her cheeks.
"You don't have cooties either, Peke."
She turned her head to look back at the moon.
"I kinda wanna be a Mommy when I growed up. I wanna haves somethings to love and care for and protects, just like my momma does for me. I think it might be fun to be a Mommy. But, I dunno who would wanna be the Daddy. Momma told me that a Daddy is very special to a Mommy. That they're like, the bestest friends ever. "
She glanced to Peke from the corner of her eyes curiously.}

Peke sat there staring with a small smile across his maw. "Y..Ya know yo..your eyes look really um..pretty. They have the moon in them." the cub managed to say.

_{A deep blush broke out upon Nikita's cheeks. She ducked her head down, turning it slightly away from the blonde cub beside her.
"Heee, reallys?"
She fiddled with her paws as she sat there, swaying her body slightly from side to side, an adorable grin upon her maw. Biting her lower lip, she turned her head toward him quickly, pressing her maw against his in an innocent kiss. Quickly pulling back, she giggled softly, picking up her tail to toy with the tuft.
"You're my bestest friend, Peke."}

The cub's face went deep red. "You're mine too." he smiled. "Well..we should probably go back." "Too bad..you two pests arent going anywhee" a voice said from behind them. "Was wondering when I'd get a chance to step in." Shura mused as she unsheathed her claws. Peke stood in front of Nikita protectively. "Wh..what do you want?" "Your hides.." Shura responded getting into a pouncing position and soon lunging forward. "RUN!" Peke yelled.

[Coral]

Coral continued to pad back, only to spot a few figures in the distance, ...Peke, another little cub, and some pmsing lady. Coral jogged over, only to take notice that it was in a agressive-manner. The lioness let off a low growl, "And what are you doing, 'miss?" She said, standing in front of Peke and Nikita defensively. It were as if she were a babysitter again... heh.

_{Nikita grinned when he said she was his bestest friend. she gave a nod, standing to lead them back when Shura appeared from the shadows. Bright blue eyes widened as she scrambled back. She let out a blood curdling scream, her heart pounding. When he yelled at her to run, she looked to him horrorified.
"But what about you?!"
However, when Coral arrived on the scene, Nikita knew he'd be okay for a little bit. Getting to her paws, she bolted away, out of the forest. As she ran towards the cave, she screamed as loud as her lungs would allow.
"MOMMA! DADDA!! HELLLPPPP!!!!"}

<sub>The vicious lioness scoffed at the tawny lioness' question. "I'm getting rid of trash, if you must know." She quickly stepped around Coral, her sights set once more on the cubs. She looked at Nikita primarily, a sneer on her face. "I'd say no hard feelings but I'd be lying. This is for stepping on me not that long ago." She leapt into the air after the fleeing cub, claws flashing dangerously in the moonlight.
Her leap would have connected, were it not for the variable she had not counted on; being knocked out of the air by another lion leaping at her. She quickly regained her footing, standing from the ground. Her eyes narrowed on seeing that it was a large male, dark brown in pelt color, with scars all over his body and steel grey eyes. "Who are you?"
Mkali looked at the lioness, hatred burning in his eyes. "You don't need to know that. Because, quite frankly, your life ends here." He said nothing more, leaping at the murderous lioness with a loud roar. His face remained expressionless. Stoic. Yet his eyes held killing intent in them.
Great, I just have to end up getting into a fight with this guy. What a hassle, Shura mused. She raised herself up onto her hind legs, preparing to defend herself. Her attempt was futile; all that occurred was her being knocked to the ground by the weight of the Barbary lion. She growled up at the male, finding herself pinned to the ground. Her eyes widened in dismay to see his claws descend straight for her stomach.
A loud roar of pain escaped the lioness as she felt Mkali's sharp claws tear into her stomach. Fear and pain were frozen onto her visage as she felt the gravity of the blow. She looked down, despite her common sense telling her not to. And she could see, without a shadow of a doubt, the extent of the damage. Evisceration.
The male swiped his claws down once again, tearing the lioness' chest open. His eyes were cold as he leered at Shura. "It's over," he stated. With one final slash he cut into her throat. The effect was instantaneous; the lioness lay still on the ground, lifeless.

Isaak and Matylda looked immediately at each other, having heard their daughter's cry for help. Without a second thought they bolted out of the caves and into the nearby forest.</sub>

_{"MOMMA DADDA!"
Nikita screamed as she seen her parents racing toward her. Skidding to a stop, she pointed the way she came.
"We was in the forest and Shura popped outta nowhere! SHE"S GONNA KILL PEKE!!! HURRY!!"
Turning around, she raced back the way she came, her heart pounding and tears streaming from her eyes.
Please be okay Peke! Please please please!!!}

Peke stared at the sight before him, blood covered the ground, a dead lioness body nearby. The young cub was speechless, just sitting there and staring up at Mkali. "Wow....Thanks." he managed to say after a few moments of silence.

[Blaze]

Mkali turned his attention to look at Peke. The emotionless mask that was on his face soon fell away, replaced by a look of concern. "The Mlinzi don't tolerate murder. This lioness attempted to kill you and your friend in cold blood. Her life, therefore, was forfeit."
Isaak soon came to the area, Matylda beside him, after following Nikita there. His eyes fell on Shura, seeing how brutally she met her end, and swallowed hard. Vladimir's nuts to bring us to war with the Mlinzi, he mused.
He turned his gaze to Mkali and looked at him. "What... what happened here?"
"She attacked Peke and his friend, fully intent on killing the two. Murder and attempted murder is punishable by death in the Mlinzi pride. Since your group are now constituents under our protection, you fall under those same rules," Mkali said.
"But... why would Shura attack Peke and our daughter?" Matylda asks.
Isaak growled, thinking of an explanation. "Because Zinoviya decided to have Shura eliminate her son's competition, despite Peke being exiled."

"We have to get him back to his herd. Taking him with us isn't an option," Huruma said.

Peke ran over to Nikita. "You ok?" he asked once arriving in front of her not hearing what Issak had said about Zinoviya.

_{Nikita paid no attention to the others. Arriving on the scene, she whipped her head around, looking for him. Turning her head, she seen him running toward her. A relieved grin was placed upon her maw ahs she tackled the boy to the ground. Wrapping her arms tightly around his chest, she snuggled her head against his neck.
"Oh my gosh, Peke! You're alive! You alives and I'm okies and you is alives!"
The little girl cried softly against his fur. She had thought she would have lost her bestest friend.}
